Today well I know it is late but I want to dedicate my blog to my late Uncle Trent. Today 8 years ago he passed from this life at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. He was my daddy's baby brother. He was the best Uncle anyone could ask for. He could play the piano, he could sing, he always gave us the best gifts. The last gift he gave me was my fake Gucci purse and a computer game to help me with my French. I know he would be proud of me because I am following in his footsteps in becoming a nurse. I miss you tons but I know I will get to see you one day.. LOve ya Kimberly

This past Sunday Paw-Paw and Gama got married at the church in Warner Robins. It was weird at first being that my grandmother has only been gone for approx 17 months but I have come to the realization that if it makes him happy then its okay. So we all gathered for this joyous occasion. By the end of the day I have acquired more cousins aunts and uncles. So here are the pics enjoy :)

It was hard letting them go but I knew that had to do what they had to do. I got transferred to the northside CVS which I love. Grades were awesome this past quarter. Last Weekend

Last weekend I drove down to Columbus to spend some quality time with the besties. Since it was Crystal's birthday we had a good reason to get together and watch football and have a good time. It was so much going shopping and meeting up with some of Crystal's co-workers. LOL I had not seen Liz since August. So it was a real treat o see her. But the next morning I drove back to Macon ( i got up at the crack of dawn) because we were doing the signing/drama in the morning service. Wow it was worth the drive back. God moved that morning and then that night. It was so awesome to see the younger kids bind together and let God use them. But the most exciting thing was we had one of the members of our congregation who was deaf do it with us. WOW..

The End of A great Summer

This summer by far has been the biggest roller coaster ride that I have been on. I think that the best word to describe it would be change . From the beginning when people that I had formed close bonds with moved over a 1000 miles away to dealing with family issues and other things. I am not saying that all of the change has been bad but from the changes that haven taken place growth in many areas has been stimulated. I have learned to trust and rely on God more than ever.I have seen friends come and go and then watched relationships crumble. It has made me realize that without him I am nothing. This change has caused me to yield to him even more. It has made me lay down my own ambitions and dreams and take on what he wants me to do. Its not about me but it is all about him. It has not been easy. There have been a lot of ups and downs but with him all things are possible. So as we close out summer of 2008 I just want to move forward and not regress back to some things. CHANGE ....

Senior Camp/ Camp Meeting

Before I had left for the west coast Kami and I headed up Senior Camp for 3 days. IT was the best 3 days of senior camp that I had been to in a very long time. God came in and took over and began to deal with a lot of us and make some lasting changes. IT was so awesome watching some of my closest friends make some commitments and dedications to God. God began to clean out the very depths of us and we are and still forever changed. Then this past week I went to camp meeting and it was awesome. I could only make it to the evening services because during he day I was working at the pharmacy. But every night was worth it. ON the last night at the Freedom rally there was about 25 people to get the holy ghost and many more prayed back through. It was a mighty move of his spirit. ON a lighter note after the service on Friday night we headed to our favorite restaurant The truck stop and we chowed down on some food . Well all the people that was eating with us decided that at 12:01 that they would get up in the booths and sing happy b-day to me as loud as they could I tried to escape but they would not let me. I was so embarrassed but my friends are the greatest. Here are some pics from these 2 events

IT all started with me going to John and Jen's house last Friday night after returning to Macon from senior camp. We went out to eat then when we came home we proceeded to pack up the Camero.. This was the hardest and the funniest thing ever. I ended up sitting in the back seat with 2 suitcases my pillow and my 2 carry on bags.Then Jen was sitting up front with her purse and a bass guitar. We looked like the Beverly Hillbillies pulling up to Groom's Transportation service at like 3am. So we arrived to the airport only to find out that John and Jen's suitcases were over 50lbs. So at the check in counter we are scrambling trying to shuffle the contents in the suitcase around so they could go on the plane. After that we proceeded to go through security, this was my first time flying so I have never had the privilege of doing this. So when I went through my bags did not come down and I was puzzled and I looked at the guy and told him the suspicious object was just a DVD player and then he proceeded to tell me about how dangerous things could be hidden and it should have been left out and I was like sorry dude. LOL. So after all that drama we went and got some breakfast and then waited to board out plane. I have to admit I was getting nervous because this was my first plane ride and on top of all of that I was almost 4 hours. So we finally boarded the plane and then we took off and it was so awesome. I was not that bad.After we had been in the air for awhile me and Jen decide it was time to sleep so laid on top of her for like 2 1/2 hours it was not the most comfortable postion but I still got some sleep. So we finally got into Utah and then we hadsome trouble with John's bass and where it was located so we ended up wit hthe Hot pilots LOL walking us to our next gate. We sat arounf for another hour waiting on our connecting flight. I was very anxious b/c I had not seen the Teels in almost a month and I was readyto see them. So we got on our next flight and this plane was so small comapred to the last plane that we had been on. I got stuck sitting next to a dude who drooled while he slept. This flight was very short and before I realized we were landing in CALI!!!! SO we got off this plane and made our way to the baggage area where we greeted by the Teels and Nate ( Jen's brother).So I left with the Teel's and they began to give me the "tour" of Cali and well all i saw was dirt, rocks and farm animals. But after the short drive we met up with his brother and his family and had a nice lunch with them. Then afte that we made a few more stops along the way until we had reached aunt Becky's house where most of the family had gatherered. I was met with a rush of little kids who were so full of life and energy. This is where i hung out and got to know the family. Thye treated me like family and that was so nice. I took the kids to park that was right near the house and acted like a little kid. It was fun. Then when we got back to the house Pj wanted me to convince his mom to make rice pudding and she did but the sad thing was that I did not even get some b/c I had fallen asleep in the library. I was so tired. So after that we went to poppey's house where we stayed sat and sunday night. It was so neat being in the home that Gina had grown up in. So me and ash shared a bed for the next 2 nights. Well Sunday was the busiest ever. I got up to get Ash's hair done and then mine. After all of that we headed to kingsburg where the Baby dedication was being held. I loved Jen's church. This was the best baby dedication that I had ever been in. The presence iof God was so strong it was Like WOW. Everyone who had spoken did a wonderful job. Then after the service the church fed us some amazing food and I cleaned my plate. After the morning service we headed over to Aunt Rachel's home to see it since it had been remolded. Then that night we went to Bro.Morton's church with Aunt Becky and her family. It was a lot of and the service was also good. Then the next morning we packed up the trailblazer and headed on the 10 hour drive to AZ. I do not remember most of it because I slept through most of it. We got there pretty late. Then the next day we went shopping then swimming which was tons of fun.The next day we just chilled at the house til it was time for church then the next morning we got up at the crack of dawn and rode to the airport. It was very sad; I cried all the way through security. I finally arrived home and did not get much sleep til Sunday night. So overall it was a good trip and I will be back later this year YAY ....

This Father's day I went to church then after tonight's service I headed over to my aunt Ramona's house where we had a family get-together. Last Friday night kami and me surprised one of very good friends Lyssa by coming up to her graduation. It was a beautiful service; Lyssa's uncle did an impressive job on the message. Being at her graduation brought back memories to my graduation and it started making me feel old LOL . We ended up spending the night with her and then eating lunch with her the next day. But before we decided to go out me Kimberly the klutz decided to step on a hair straightener. Yeah i burnt my foot and had to drive all the way home with a burnt foot. It was quite the experience. I am glad I had the chance to go to Lyssas because it was my first Friday night without my people. I did not have time to think about them leaving. So overall last weekend the best ...even with a burnt foot .

18 Months Witout a microwave LOL

No I have not lived the past 18 months without a microwave but my close friends the Teels have. These people mean the world to me. The past like 14 months have been the best b/c they have came into my life ( and JOHn and Jen too ) .They took me under their wings and in the process taught me some very much needed life lessons. For example, not everyone is going to like you espically dogs named TOby. Or how to wsh dishes and how to place the stopper in correctly. When sorrow hit my home and I was dealing with the loss of my Grand-ma Sis teel was there with her Chicken Enchildas. They have fed me, encouraged me, prayed for me, made fun of me and a whole lot more. They are truly the best that is why writing this blog is the hardest thing ever. I am going to miss them so much. They made me feel like I belonged and helped me gain back some confidence that I was lacking in my life. I know they are going to do great things in Arizonia.....Love yall thanks for the memories and ill see ya in Cali in less than a month

Wow ... It has been a couple of days since my last post. I have been busy getting ready for finals and working a lot. But I did manage to squeeze in Ladies conference last thursday and Friday night. I am so glad that I did. Sis. Mickey Mangun did a fantastic job. Yesterday was a very busy day for me. I got up and went to work then after that I headed over to the Bullard's house to do Mary Grace's hair for prom. It turned out well; i rolled her whole head then did a low curly bun with a side swoop. Allie also came over and helped her get ready for her big night. It was a blast. She told me that she trusted me to do her hair b/c I was Pentecostal. LOL.Another thing that we are known for is our hairdos. :) After all of that I ventured over to the Teel's house for Caden's first get together. It was blast. It still seemed unreal that he was actually here. Here are some pics He is the best baby.

After 38 weeks and 4 days Caden Myrick Teel was born today at 4:30 am by a c-section. This little boy weighed 8lbs and was 19inc long. He is chubby little boy with a head full of black wavy hair.I have never seen 2 parents who were so happy !!!!! JOhn,Jen, Ash and me were at the hospital all day today ...Gina is doing okay....This little boy already has stolen my heart .

Church this past weekend

This past Sunday Ash and Kaylin came over to my house and we just hanged until church started. I did their hair and it was so cool to see how they look with a "young " person hairdo. I love doing this. I love rolling or doing hair and watching the reactions and seeing their faces light up. Its my way of mentoring in a way. I love showing them how to appreciatie their glory and learn to love it. These girls including Kami make me smile. I sometimes feel that I am not the best influcne but i guess time will tell how much of an impact I have made on them because you never know how your words or your reactions will shape someone. That is why we need to be careful about what we do or how we say it b/c it can be reflected in others :)

Easter was a blast this year. I had the privilege along with Jen Freeman to teach 9 pre teens the signs for Revelation Song. It was hard at first but after awhile the kids caught on and it became our worship unto God. It was so powerful to see these kids let themselves be used by God. WOW...I am so proud of them. :) Thanks to Jen, Sis. Steph , Bro. Teel and Bro.Marcantel for all your help and giving us the opportunity. I thought as time went on that it would get better but sometimes I feel like it gets worse. Some days are better than others and then there are those days like today when I began to think about her and everything and I cant stop the tears from coming. I know she is in a better place with no more pain but it is still hard. Its hard knowing when I got out to the house she will not be there to greet me and give me something to eat. She will not be there to ask how I was doing and fuss at me for not coming out there as often as I should. She will not offer to sew up my splits on the spot b/c I have ripped it. All I will find is my Paw-Paw there and thats good but its not the same...

New Year brings New things

With the start of a new year usually people make up some kind of a resoultion that they will try to keep but after 1 month they just give up and move on. Well I do not agree with all of that but what I do agree with is examing your life figuring out what is not right or what you can do better and then make a plan to try to accomplish that. So after giving my life a complete examination I have found some areas that have a lack or need of more of something. That would be God; yes he is the most important thing in my life but sometimes our actions speak louder than our words. Also when I look at my youth group I see no leadership; meaning there really is no one they can look to and also to lead them. So someone has to step up why not it be me; I am tired of losing young people to the world and all of the so called fun it has to offer. I know you cannot make a person do something they do not want to do but atleast I can do my part in leading them and then leave the decision up to them. I want my youth group to become the leaders that I know they can be. So thats my new years goals..

Just remember be the change that you want to see in the world.

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. But life has been real hectic. I am now back in school and working so its been real chaotic. But since my last post I have came back from youth convention, my cousin has had her baby and we just buried my Great grand-ma. So I have been so busy. Yes I am so glad that Christmas is over!! This Christmas season has been a hectic one and also very sad one. But we made it!!! Now i am glad to be packing up my car for AYC!!!!!!!! Yes I am so ready to go and have some fun and have great church

Road trip....

Yesterday I had to drive to ALA to take Candace and Olivia to meet their mom. For most people this would be a normal thing meaning in todays society that divorce is common. But not in this case, we quickly said our goodbyes and got directly back on the road. There was a total silence until we got to the Ga border. Kami was just sitting there looking out the window. Sometimes its hard as friends to watch someone you love and care for go through some God-awful things. But I reminded her that this thing was supposed to destroy her and it did in some ways but she got back up. She proved others wrong, yeah there were some bumps in the way and some mistakes made. But you got up and moved on. So the point was what was intended to destroy you can make u stronger if you allow it too. This phrase can be applied to anyone , sometimes life deals a deck of cards that just does not seem fair but if we take it and then take God's hand then we can overcome ...

So kami and as 2007 comes to a close I just wanted to say i AM proud of ya.

Tonight Bro.Teel's message sparked something in me. It was entitled "what do you ( I) want? The first things that came to mind were of course the non-spiritual things like a man, kids,good job etc.. But tonight he challenged us to go deeper and onto a spiritual note. What about in our relationship with God. It made me began to take an inventory. What can i do to have more of him in my life; what changes can I make that would make me get closer to God. He gave this awesome illustration, the one step i make towards God is one step he makes closer to me. And if the process continues then after awhile God and me are like literally face to face. I know that I have made some changes but there are a lot to go. But it is a daily thing, its me seeking his face on a daily basis that brings about changes that will be long lasting. We can talk and say that we are going to do things but sometimes our actions speak louder than our words.So many times we say that we are going to make a commitment but after one day we fall to the wayside and go back to the things that we once did. But it is when we get a true love and true want to live for him then we can see the commitments through.So tonight I issue a challenge; what do u want in your walk with God.

Sometimes it feels like u make so much progress and then one little thing throws u back father than where we started. After everything we can feel like a complete loser because we let ourself get caught up in something like that. but we have to get back up and get back in the race. People all the time make mistakes but it is what we learn from them that makes us stronger and makes us a better person. So get up dust your knees off for today is another day ...:)

I cannot wait to see all my friends have great church and make some more memories. Some of my friends i only get to see at district functions so this is why this is such a treat. pain comes in all forms. In the small twinge, a bit of soreness, the random pain, & the normal pains we live with everyday. Then there's the kind of pain that you just can't ignore. A level of pain so great that it blocks out everything else. It makes the rest of the world fade away until all we can think about is how much we hurt. How we manage our pain is up to us. We ride it out, embrace it, ignore it, run from it, & for some of us, the best way to manage the pain is to just push through it.

I was going through my emails today and I came across this quote. It fits perfectly. How we deal with things that have caused us great pain define who we are as a person. We can either dwell on it and get angry and bitter or we can overcome it and give it over to God. We do not always understand why but we can trust in a God who knows all and who has our best interest at heart. So tonight God I am trusting you ......

The Griffins/My awesome weekend

Wow...last weekend was the best that I had in a long time. I took the kids to the game and then Mary Grace came over and Allie and we had girls weekend. we stayed up reading magazines and having girl time while Matthew played upstairs with a friend of his. Then Matthew came to work with me the next day. That was an experience he got so see first hand what I do at the pharmacy. But the best part was that Allie came to church with me on Sunday and she loved it and she said she would be back. Well then Candace and Olivia came in that weekend also and we had the best time. I really didn't realize how much that I miss them until they left. That Sunday afternoon everyone was at my house and I mean everyone. But we all got ready together and had one of those moments like it used to be. I can not say that i miss the old days b/c there was a lot that went on but I guess I just miss the people being here. When i look back to a year ago and look now things have taken a shake. But I am glad for some of the changes that have come. "God has a way of working it out ".....:)

Tonight marks the first night I will be staying at the Griffins house.Wait let me back up; Monday night I went for an interview with a family to keep their 2 kids for tonight through Saturday afternoon. Well I got the job!! I was very excited b/c this will be the first time that i have kept a "little boy" over night. I am praying that he will be easier than my girls. But as we began to tour the house and i began to get a feel of where everything was, we went into the safari room and there was these animals and i mean like zebras ,lions ,moose etc everywhere.It kinda took me by surprise but after awhile it was fine . The parents are super cool and she has loaded us up with food !! Yay Party :) here are some pics of the gurl. ( she is best friends with Mary Grace Bullard whom i tutor and I am her little Sis nanny)

Adventures at the Bullards

This past Friday night I began a 2 night 3 day stay at the Bullards keeping 3-6 kids all weekend long while the parents went away to their mountain home for the weekend. I knew that it was going to be a challenge because every time I have kept the kids for any length of time it was no walk in the park. The Friday night got off to a great start all the kids except for sunshine was going out for their school's homecoming; so we went and me up with the Teels and got their daughter to come over and play with us.Then the drama began i had to take the girls back to work with me b/c someone decided not to show up for work; they loved getting to see what I really do. Saturday was alright except for the fact I had to get up in the cold and take sunshine to her game so she could cheer. The only other downfall was that I had tons of laundry to do.I really do not know how the mom does it. then on Sunday 2 of the kids came to church with me that morning and then 1 returned that night. God moved in sunshines heart and it was so beautiful to see her weep and cry before the lord. Only time will tell..

College and Career

This past weekend I had the privilege of going to the college and career retreat sponsored by the Ga district. I didn't go in with high expectations because I was just happy to get away from work and other things. But it turned out to be what I really needed. I am the type of person who tends to consume themselves with activities to keep me busy but sometimes during all the business I tend to not address issues that needed to be taken care of; so this was a great weekend for me to evaluate some things and also to have some good fun with some of my closest friends

When a person comes up to me and asks me who in my family has influenced me the most it would have to be My maw-Maw. Though I am not quite as domesticate as she was meaning I can not cook but i can sew when i want to LOL ...But this woman made a huge impact on me and espically my walk with God. SO....as we approach the 4 week anniv of your death I just want to say that I love ya and miss u every day
